The purpose of Key Stage 3 Creative Arts Afternoon was to showcase students’ work.

The purpose of Key Stage 3 Creative Arts Afternoon was to showcase students’ work. At the beginning of the academic year pupils were given the opportunity to attend Art, Music or Drama for one additional lesson each week. Throughout the Year pupils have been attending specialist lessons and the afternoon performance showcase some of their work.


The first Drama performance of the afternoon was a one act play called “Ernie’s Incredible Illuscinations”. This play is about a young boy who imagines things which come true. This was performed by the Year 8 Creative Arts Drama class.  

There was an Art exhibition set up in the theatre. The exhibition contains pieces of work from the Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 Creative Art classes. During the exhibition there was Musical performances by our Year 7 and Year 8 Creative Arts pupils.

After that, there were more Drama performances from Year 9 interspersed with Music Performances form Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9.

The teachers concerned were Mrs Brown (Drama), Miss Guzal (Art) and Miss Teague (Music)
